Please note that all families are more than welcome to supply any of the goods from previous weeks. Let`s reach out and provide a basic need for those who cannot provide for themselves.
FLU VIRUS
In order to prevent the flu virus from spreading, please ensure that, should your child begin showing signs of flu (sore throat, headache, body ache, fever, coughing, vomiting and/or diarrhea), they are kept at home until fully recovered. It is further advised that a medical evaluation be carried out. Parents are requested to inform the school of flu-infected children. The one or two confirmed cases of H1NI Virus have made a full and complete recovery with no complications or need for hospitalization.
To prevent your child from picking up an infectious illness such as flu; ensure that they are appropriately dressed, take an extra multi-vitamin or immune booster and eat an additional supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. Washing of hands regularly is also advised.
