End of Year Examinations
The Grade 4 to 7 students continue writing their final examinations until 26 November. Each student has received their examination timetable indicating the day each subject is written. Please assist your child in preparing for these examinations by ensuring that sufficient time is set aside for studying at home and that your child has enough sleep and healthy nutrition, which is especially important for adequate brain function. A normal school day (08:00 – 14:00) applies to these students during the examination period.
Ice Cream Sales
There shall be an ice cream sale (dairy and non-dairy ice-cream sticks) on Thursday and Friday, 25 and 26 November at the Dey Street Campus for all the concert performers. Ice creams are R10 each.
Pearls of Paradise
Thank you to parents who have made their costume payments and organized the costume requirements. An appeal is made to stick to the deadlines for handing in payment as well as completed costumes.
Tickets for parents, grandparents, extended family and friends, to attend the stage production are available at R50 per ticket from the school office. Tickets are selling quickly and we thank everyone for their tremendous support thus far.
Rehearsals during the school morning shall increase over the next few days. Please ensure that your child has sufficient food, snacks and juice during the next few weeks as the opportunity to purchase from the Tuck Shop cannot be guaranteed. This applies to the Pre-R to Grade 8 performers.
A sincere word of thanks to all the teachers who have sacrificed many hours of free time to prepare costumes and props for the stage production.
End of Term
The 2010 academic school year draws to a close on Friday 10 December. Children and senior students are expected to attend school everyday until this date.
