Welcome
A warm welcome back is extended to all our families after the winter break. We look forward to a busy and successful third term of school.
Entrepreneurs’ Day
The Grade 2 class had their entrepreneurs’ sale on Tuesday 14 June at the Junior Campus. Well done to the children, parents and Teacher Natasha for their wonderful success.
Relocations
Some of our families are preparing to return to their countries of origin or relocate to their next international posting. We extend best wishes and sincerely hope they have created wonderful memories of our beautiful country with its amazing diversity.
Ruler Clothing
Adri, from Ruler Clothing, our uniform supplier, is expecting her set of twins in September. She shall still be available but only to a limited degree between August and November. Therefore, it is suggested that parents start placing orders for the summer shirts and caps sooner rather than later. Please contact Adri on rulerclothing@gmail.com
Extra Murals
A new extra-mural schedule shall be made available within the next few days. These activities will commence the week of 18th July.
Senior Tour
The Senior Educational Tour for Grade 7, Checkpoint and IGCSE 2012 students has been arranged for 14 to 22 September 2011. The students will tour the Eastern Cape including Port Elizabeth, Plettenberg Bay, Jeffrey’s Bay, Knysna, Oudsthoorn and Kimberley. Parents are urged to ensure that all final payments and consent forms are finalised as soon as possible. For further enquiries, please contact Teacher Demi.
Junior Swimming
Swimming classes for the Pre-R to Grade 3 children shall commence the week of 18th July. Although, children are encouraged to swim during the winter months as it is an indoor heated pool, we do not recommend that children who are sickly or prone to coughs, colds or respiratory infections participate in swimming during the colder months.
Stationery
Parents are asked to check that their child’s stationery supplies are still adequate for the remainder of the year and to top up, if necessary.
