New Families
A warm welcome is extended to the many new families who have recently joined Courtney House. We wish them a happy and successful time with us.
Relocations
Some of our families are preparing to return to their countries of origin or relocate to their next international posting. We extend best wishes and sincerely hope they have created wonderful memories of our beautiful country.
Extra Murals
Extra Mural Schedules were handed out on Friday. These activities will commence the week of 18th July. Please ensure that the envelopes provided are used to tick the extra mural choices and the exact payment is enclosed in the envelope. The school office may not receive payment for extra murals if this is not enclosed in the envelope.
Senior Students
Checkpoint, IGCSE and A-Level students are reminded to continue studying and reviewing their syllabus content throughout the term. Afternoon time should be utilised effectively so that homework and studying is being done regularly and on an ongoing basis to ensure good results in their international examinations.
Senior Tour
The Senior Educational Tour for Grade 7, Checkpoint and IGCSE 2012 students has been arranged for 14 to 22 September 2011. Parents are urged to ensure that all final payments and consent forms are finalised as soon as possible. The second payment is due by 12th August. For further enquiries, please contact Teacher Demi.
Junior Swimming
Swimming classes for the Pre-R to Grade 3 children shall commence the week of 18th July. Although, children are encouraged to swim during the winter months as it is an indoor heated pool, we do not recommend that children who are sickly or prone to coughs, colds or respiratory infections participate in swimming during the colder months.
Stationery
Parents are asked to check that their child’s stationery supplies are still adequate for the remainder of the year and to top up, if necessary.
