Junior Phase Civvies Day
Children in Pre-R to Grade 3 shall have a” Summer Fever Civvies Day” on Tuesday 25th October. They are required to bring R5 and may wear ordinary clothes of their choice to school.
Heritage Day Writing Competition

Physical Education
Children and students are encouraged to wear suitable clothing on the days they have PE lessons. Sport shoes or trainers and caps for the sun are essential. It is advisable for children to apply sun-block.
Uniform Items
Orders for summer uniform items can be placed at the school office with Michele-Ange.
Examinations
Please take note of the following information pertaining to examination dates. Parents of ALL these students are urged to ensure that effective studying is done. Healthy nutrition, moderate exercise and sufficient sleep are also vital for examination success.
Grade 3 Examinations
Grade 3 children will write Cambridge Primary Programme examinations in English, Science and Mathematics on the 1st, 8th and 15th November respectively.
Senior Primary Phase Examinations
Examination schedules indicating dates and times for examinations for students in Grade 4 to 7 were handed out. Please ensure that you are aware of this information so as to assist your child.
Grade 8 Examinations
Grade 8 students shall write Cambridge International Checkpoint Examinations from 21st October till 2nd November. Please ensure that students arrive early and are collected on time on the days they write these examinations. Schedules were sent home with all these details.
Cambridge International Examinations
IGCSE and A-Level students have begun the October-November examination sitting.

Relocations
A reminder that should you be relocating or terminating your children’s tuition at Courtney House, three months’ written notice is required as per the contract signed. Please ensure that such letters are handed in at the school office as soon as possible, otherwise you will be held liable for a further three months worth of tuition fees.
