Foreign Languages Festival
Children in Reception Year to Grade 7 have been preparing items for recital in their specific foreign language (French, Spanish or Afrikaans). External judges shall be here to listen to these recitals. This is all in aid of encouraging the oral component of the foreign languages and to stimulate confidence in communicating in another language.
On Thursday, 21 June, parents of children in Reception Year to Grade 4 are invited to watch their child’s recital. This will take place at the Junior Campus (Dey Street) between 9:00 and 11:30.
The children in Grade 5, 6 and 7 shall recite to their peers and teachers from 12:30 to 13:30.
Academic progress reports for students in Pre-R through to AS/A-Level shall be available for collection from the school office on Wednesday 20 June. Parents or a designated adult are required to collect and sign for their child’s academic report. No reports may be handed out before this date.
The second term ends on Friday 22 June at the normal school time which includes afternoon classes for IGCSE and AS/A Level students. We wish all families a safe and enjoyable holiday.
School resumes on Monday 23 July for the third term.
Please be aware that the school office shall not be open between 28 June and 16 July. All enquiries and requests must be dealt with before or after this period.
Should you be relocating or transferring your child to a different school, please be advised that the school office requires a written notice of one school term or three months.
